CUADRO AYUDA

This pilot project is unique worldwide and focuses on non-invasive telecare for elderly and dependent people, using artificial intelligence technologies.
The project will be carried out in collaboration with the conventional municipal telecare service, which currently serves around 60 people. In addition to Benidorm City Council, the companies Hidraqua, Veolia, IOTSENS and Moments & Events are participating in it.

Objectives and details of the project:
The initiative aims to improve the quality of life, prevent risky situations and provide personalized assistance.
Water and electricity consumption data will be combined to create consumer profiles, which will allow advanced tailored tutoring services to be offered to elderly and dependent people.
The system will send alarms in the event of failures, alterations or interruptions in supplies such as water or electricity, medical devices and other monitored devices.
It will also detect unexpected changes in people's habits, unusual consumption of light and water, medical emergencies and medication intake.
These alarms will be transmitted to municipal Social Services and/or relatives of the project participants, allowing an appropriate response to each situation.

Expected Benefits:
In addition to emergencies, the project has the potential to detect neurological diseases early.
The technology developed is planned to be scalable and replicable in other areas of Benidorm, as well as in other municipalities in Spain and internationally.

Internet of People (IoP) concept:
The project is framed within the idea of the Internet of People (IoP), which focuses on the collection, processing and application of personal data to improve the quality of life of the elderly and vulnerable, as well as to improve their care.
