Benidorm Data Heritage

A project that aims to integrate the heritage elements generated through the Infotourist tool installed in the tourism office directly into the O-City global platform and into the Smart Tourist Destination management system, CICLOPS DTI.

For this, the following tasks have been carried out:

Development of an interoperable API between the different tools
Update of data from tourist offices
Classification of Benidorm resources
Infotourist tool connection with the OCITY platform
Integration into the DTI management system, CICLOPS DTI

This is intended to:

Increase the visibility of the natural and cultural heritage of the municipality of Benidorm.
Develop and scale the Infotourist tool with a personalized API on heritage elements incorporating standardization according to UNE 178503, UNE 17850 5 tourist websites.
Lay the technological foundations for integration and participation in future national and European projects.
Serve as a success story in the DTI, Valencian and national community networks, incorporating into the heritage working group.
Improve the tourist experience in the knowledge of heritage elements and their interaction with the territory.
This project has Insyde, Tourism Intelligence, optimizes data and the UPV of Gandía for O-City.
