The objective of the web multiportal (benidorm.org) of Benidorm City Council is to offer accessible portals for the citizen, so that, regardless of whether or not they are disabled, of their age or if he accesses the Web from technologies unconventional, they can surf the pages without encountering access difficulties.

The self-assessment has been completed by performing a thorough analysis using both manual and automatic tools. For this, the Practical Guide of the Web Accessibility Observatory "Web Accessibility Validation Guide" available at https://administracionelectronica.gob.es/pae_Home/pae_Estrategias/pae_Accesibilidad/pae_documentacion.html has been followed. Likewise, a manual audit of all content was carried out.

Likewise, this website incorporates the requirements of the Regulation of December 2, 2016, published in the Official Bulletin of the European Union Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of October 26, 2016, on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices of public sector bodies.

The set of sub-portals of this site have been audited to ensure compliance with the provisions of version 2.0 of WCAG, priority 1 and 2. Benidorm City Council wants accessibility to be maintained permanently , and not to be lost with the different modifications that are made over time. In order to carry out compliance monitoring of accessibility regulations, every 3 months a check of AA level accessibility is carried out using the tools provided by the Accessibility Observatory (https://www.observatoriodelaaccesibilidad.es/).
