Benidorm Government Board
The collegiate municipal government body.
The function of the Board of Governors is to assist the Mayor in the performance of his powers and exercise such assigment granted to him by law or by delegation of The Mayor or the Full Council in the cases provided by law.
The Mayor presides over the Board of Local Government and freely appoints and dismisses the other members of the same, whose number may not exceed one third of the total number of members of the Corporation.
Currently, the Local Government Board consists of the Mayor and seven councilors.
