Pedro Zaragoza Chair

Based in Benidorm, the Pedro Zaragoza Chair of Tourism Studies was established in December 2010 to highlight the strategic importance of tourism for the economy and society of the province of Alicante.

The Chair benefits from the academic and research support of the University of Alicante through its University Institute for Tourism Research. It carries out a range of training, research and knowledge dissemination programmes, with a particular focus on the Costa Blanca and Benidorm.
