Toni Pérez highlights the "friendly" treatment of the agents and the "efficiency" in solving problems
20 new agents join Benidorm Local Police
Officials access the position after passing a selective process of free shift, with their physical and knowledge tests, the mandatory testing period, and completing the Basic Course for access to the Category of Agents of the Local Police Forces of the Valencian Community IVASPE (Valencian Institute of Public Safety and Emergency).
The act was presided over by the acting mayor, Toni Pérez, flanked by the councillors, also acting, for Public Service and Organization and Management of Human Resources, Lorenzo Martínez and Ángela Zaragozí; the chiel of the Local Police, Luis Arévalo; and the accidental secretary, Francisca Marín. A good part of the councilors who make up the corporation and members of the Works Council and the Personnel Board have also been present.
Toni Pérez congratulated the new agents and reminded them of the obligations that the position of Local Police agent entails, especially in a city like Benidorm that lives off tourism. "In you," he said, "the image of Benidorm is reflected and, in many cases, you will be the first face that those who require your services will see."
The mayor highlighted the "friendly" treatment of the citizen and the "efficiency" in solving problems as hallmarks of Benidorm Local Police. He wished the new agents "the greatest success" in developing their professional careers.
