The bay of Benidorm hosts this Sunday, June 18, a new edition of the Regional Rowing Championship in which 300 athletes from up to 14 clubs from the Valencian Community participate. The acting Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, and Jaume Mas, Club Náutico's Rowing delegate, have today transferred the details of this test, which will begin around 08:30 a.m. and is organized by the entity with the collaboration of the City Council, the Valencian Rowing Federation, and SUMA Tax Management.
The championship will be played in the Cadet, Youth, Absolute, Veteran, and Mix PR3-ABS categories. The participating boats in the Cadet, Veteran, and Mix PR3-ABS categories will cover a distance of 3,000 meters, which makes up the circuit designed in front of the Poniente beach, while the rest will face more than 4,000.
The regatta jury will be made up of referees and judges from the Federation.
Sea Rowing is a modality in open water with boats of a size between six and 10.7 meters, which can be individual, double, or four with a helmsman.
