The Elementary Dance Conservatory closes the 2022/2023 academic year with an exhibition at the cultural center
Benidorm Municipal Elementary Dance Conservatory closed yesterday the 2022/2023 academic year with an exhibition by the students in the auditorium of the cultural center. In addition to the families, the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the acting councilors of Education and Culture, Maite Moreno and Jaime Jesús Pérez, attended the closing of the school year.
The show, choreographed by teachers from the Municipal Dance Conservatory, was divided into two parts. The first, with seven performances, was dedicated to classical dance, while in the second it was the turn of Spanish and contemporary dance. In total, 14 performances by the students of Initiation, Preparatory, Elementary Grade, and Middle Grade.
At the closing of the event, the mayor highlighted how the students have worked "very hard" throughout the school year in "a very important academic year" in which "our Municipal Elementary Dance Conservatory" has opened "facilities at the height of what he deserves”. To these educational facilities is added “an assembly hall with a lot of capacity”, which yesterday was filled with relatives of the students.
Likewise, Toni Pérez appreciated "the great work of the management and teaching team of the Conservatory", and encouraged future dancers to "continue training and preparing".
