Ondulada Street is reopened provisionally to traffic
De Zárate explained that "the bulk of the renovation works on this street has already been completed that is why we have considered it convenient to enable, albeit provisionally, the passage of vehicles to speed up traffic for the weekend."
The mayor has detailed that "with this action drinking water and sewage infrastructures of the entire Ondulada street, which were very damage, have been renewed." In addition to acting on the subsoil, “the result of these works is also evident on the surface, since the sidewalks have been widened, given an anti-slip treatment, and medium-voltage power lines have been placed. "This is how we solved the shortcomings and deficiencies that the water network on Ondulada Street had and the usual problems on rainy days when pedestrians often slipped," he added.
In total, he pointed out, "an investment of close to 238,000 euros with which to improve the drinking and wastewater network, accessibility and the urban scene of this road that serves as a link between the Parque de l'Aigüera and the street Tomás Ortuño and that usually has an important traffic of vehicles and pedestrians”.
