Residents in this neighbourhood of Rincón are demanding some action regarding urban transport and street cleaning
Residents of Sierra Dorada Street are sending their requests and suggestions to the City Council through the 'A pie de Calle' campaign

The "Street-Based" campaign, launched by the Department of Citizenship Participation and other municipal departments, resumed its activities this morning and moved to Sierra Dorada Street, in Rincón de Loix, to hear the demands and suggestions made by residents of this area, who turned out in large numbers.
The Councillors for Citizenship Participation and Urban Scene, Ana Pellicer and Francis Muñoz, attended the event, accompanied by the Vice President of the Neighbourhood Council, Antonio Zamora, and several municipal technicians.
The residents and neighbours presented several issues related to street cleaning in the area and offered suggestions for improving urban transportation. They also requested work on the street gardens and the existence of some tree stumps that have not been removed or replanted. They also requested more attention to access to the natural park and the replacement of some damaged trash cans.
On the other hand, according to Francis Muñoz, residents "have been very grateful for the traffic reorganisation that has recently been carried out around Sierra Dorada Street, which has greatly facilitated their mobility." Muñoz also specified that residents and municipal representatives have agreed to a future meeting "to analyse the progress made on their requests and to raise new demands, if any."
Ana Pellicer, for her part, emphasised the objective of the "Apie de Calle" campaign because "it allows us to understand residents' demands in great detail and act where they tell us to." She added, "We are continuously updating their requests so we can act as quickly as possible."
Pellicer also encouraged residents to reflect on any needs the street may have in the 2026 Participatory Budget, for which they have until July 31st.
