The spirit of Halloween arrives at Calle Gambo to encourage shopping in local commerce

27 October 2017
El espíritu de Halloween llega a la calle Gambo para incentivar las compras en el comercio local

AICO launches from the 28th to the 31st a programming with themed animations, children's workshops and attractions

People who go in disguise can participate with Legend specialists in the parades

Gambo street will be impregnated from tomorrow until October 31 with the spirit and aesthetics of Halloween thanks to the campaign of the Independent Association of Merchants (AICO), which once again has the collaboration of the Department of Commerce headed by Ana Pellicer. The objective of this campaign is "to encourage local shopping by creating an environment at the doors of our establishments", as indicated by the president of AICO, Raúl Parra.

The councilman of Commerce has pointed out that as in previous years "the AICO Halloween campaigns never leave us indifferent" and applauded this attractive initiative as a "claim" for residents and tourists "Shopping in our establishments and consume in Benidorm".

The president of the merchants has emphasized that Halloween is "a spectacular and very powerful event" that can "generate a flow of important people not only from Benidorm but also from the region."

This year's campaign will have attractions and children's workshops, around a dozen booths with exclusive Halloween products - not to compete with local commerce - and animations that will cross Gambo Street and adjacent. As a novelty, "all those who come in disguise will be able to participate in the parades" that will perform the specialists of the company Legend every afternoon from 19.00 to 21.00 hours. A novelty that "will allow to interact with the public", as highlighted by Parra.

The Legend manager, Luis Leal, explained that animations and parades "will have a different thematization every day". So the Sabbath will be the day of the devil; on Sunday, that of the witches; the jaulocos will be the protagonists of Monday; and Tuesday will be vampires and zombies who take center stage.

At noon and until 2 pm will open the attractions and Halloween stalls. In the afternoon the activity will take place from 17.00 to 21.00 hours, the same time that will take place the workshops for children scheduled for Saturday.
