Nearly 400 Primary school students participate this Friday in the closing concert of 'L'escola canta' project
Nearly 400 Benidorm Primary students offer this Friday, May 5, the closing concert of the 'L'escola canta' project, in which six educational centers in the city have participated in this 2022/2023 academic year. Backed by the Departments of Culture and Education, the project of the Department of Education has been released this year in Benidorm and has the collaboration of the Musical Union.
The entity's band will accompany the 375 students from the CEIP Miguel Hernández, Ausiàs March, Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Bautista Lledó, and Els Tolls on stage who will perform the cantata 'La missió de Robi'.
This piece selected for 'L'escola canta' project has music by Marcel Ortega and lyrics by Isabel Marín.
The Councilors for Culture and Education, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Maite Moreno highlighted that "with this project synergies are generated between the educational centers of Benidorm and the musical entities, thus bringing the little ones closer to music and especially singing, developing his artistic and musical facet”.
The closing concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. in Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera.
