More than 20 companies are certified in 2017 in tourist quality with the SICTED distinctive
The mayor has opted to redouble efforts so that the local businesses improve in quality
Soon a guide will be published with the 51 companies of Benidorm recognized and the 16 companies involved
More than 20 companies of Benidorm have been certified so far this year in tourist quality with the distinctive SICTED - Integral System of Tourist Quality in Destinations. With these new additions there are already 51 local companies that have achieved this certification since 2013 and 16 joined.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has delivered today in the municipal center El Torrejó the distinctive SICTEDto companies. In this act, the mayor has confirmed the city's commitment to continue advancing in tourist quality, and has announced that it is in a position to "redouble the economic efforts and human resources" to reach as many businesses as possible.
Pérez highlighted "the commitment" of the private sector of Benidorm for "increasing the quality of services provided to the tourist." Likewise, it has affected the "assistance" offered by the Department of Tourism and the hotel management Hosbec so that the largest number of companies meet the quality standards and good practices that SICTED brand requires.
In this respect, during 2016 and so far in 2017, 17 training modules and ATC workshops have been developed, and 37 advisory visits have been given.
Finally, Pérez has advanced that the City Council is going to publish in the next dates a new 'Guide for Quality' in which all the local companies certified in tourist quality will appear, among which will be the distinguished ones this year and that today they have collected The corresponding diploma. It is Benidorm Marine, Aquasports Benidorm, Diving Stones Diving Club, TAO, Base Agir Sport Benidorm, Optical Specsavers Benidorm, Sawasdeeka Tha Massage, La Tapería and La Brasería of Grupo Aurrera, Benidorm Cooking Expirience, Villasol and Villamar campings, The Gran Hotel Bali, Agua Azul, Alameda, Bilbaíno, Carlos I, Centro Mar, Sol, RH Canfali, Royal, Victoria and La Estación.
