The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, presided yesterday the inaugural party of Costa Blanca Cup, one of the most important tournaments in national and international football, which is disputed in different Municipalities of the Marina Baixa from yesterday and until the next 8 of July. The act was also attended by several councilors of different groups of the corporation and representatives of sports organizations in our city.
The first mayor welcomed the participants, inviting them to "spend among us some unforgettable days with their families, friends and colleagues". Pérez stressed that "this tournament is bigger and more important each year, and even more in the next edition, when the 25th anniversary is celebrated."
The tournament has been consolidated as one of the most important of which are organized on the European continent and is held in the municipalities of Benidorm, Altea, La Vila Joiosa, La Nucía, Benissa, Polop and Calpe.
