The municipal market, held on Wednesdays in Benidorm, will return to its usual location next to the Guillermo Amor Sports City starting next Wednesday, August 6th, once the summer music festivals have concluded and all its infrastructure has been dismantled. This was announced by the Councillor for Commerce, Javier Jordá, who noted that during July, the market has continued to operate with its nearly 240 food and textile stalls, although since July 2nd, it has been operating in the alternative location of the Fairgrounds, in Els Tolls neighbourhood.

Furthermore, Mercasa parking bays will also be operational by that date. These parking lots are being opened as the Low Festival dismantling progresses.

Javier Jordá indicated that once the musical events are over, "when it comes to dismantling, priority is being given to the Mercasa area so that citizens have access to this parking space as soon as possible, which is key for the residents of Colonia Madrid." Jordá added that "we have been equally quick to restore the municipal market to its traditional location as quickly as possible," as well as the facilities at the Sports City. Proof of this, the councillor added, is that "the municipal swimming pool is also now, as of today, reopened to the public."
