Benidorm extends until the 29th the deadline to request the quarterly subscription for l'Aigüera public parking

Benidorm City Council has extended until September 29 the deadline to request the quarterly pass for tourism-type vehicles in the municipal public car park of l'Aigüera, as reported today by the Councilor for Mobility, Francis Muñoz. The decision has been adopted after the quota of 80 initially planned subscriptions has not been completed once the ordinary period has ended.

Muñoz stated that "these passes are for September, October, and November", and that "resident card holders have a discounted price on the original, thus continuing with the City Council's policy of offering advantages to people registered in Benidorm”. Thus, the price of the quarterly 24-hour pass is 254.35 euros, while the discounted rate is 160.47 euros. In both cases, the payment will be made in a single payment for the amount of three months to be made within five days from when the request is estimated.

The councilor explained that the bases, available at https://benidorm.org, establish the award criteria for all citizens who submit their application; and he has specified that the season tickets will be assigned to applicants who meet the required requirements until the number of season tickets offered is reached.

Applications must be made in person at the general registry of the City Council (from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) or using the Electronic Registry directed to Espacio Público at https://sede.benidorm.org/web/guest/registro-electronico.

Interested persons must apply for the subscription and indicate whether they meet the conditions for the resident bonus, an issue that will be verified by the City Council. You can only request a payment for one license plate per registration and you can only park the vehicle indicated in the application. The result of the application will be communicated by telephone or SMS to the telephone number presented.

The contracting of a subscription does not imply the reservation of space, so the subscriber may park his vehicle in anyone available. Nor does it give preference to enter the parking lot if other vehicles are waiting previously.

As Muñoz indicated, “There are various improvements and innovations that have been implemented in this new management phase, such as the installation of more surveillance cameras, the traffic guidance system and the location of free spaces, spaces with cargo for electric vehicles, for vehicles with trailers or larger spaces aimed at family vehicles with strollers, among others.
