The municipal market moves to Els Tolls neighborhood during the summer

The municipal market on Wednesdays moves during the summer months to the Els Tolls neighbourhood, as reported today by the Councilor for Commerce, Lorenzo Martínez. The change will take place this coming Wednesday, July 6, the day on which the more than 240 stalls that make up the market will be installed in the fairgrounds and on Inglaterra and Austria streets.

Martínez has pointed out that “as in the years before the pandemic, Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor, next to which the market is usually located, is going to host different festivals and concerts this summer, and that is why it is decided to move the flea market to the fairgrounds and surrounding streets, favouring that merchants and customers can work and make their purchases comfortably and without interference with the assembly and production of the events”.

As on previous occasions, the textile stalls will be installed in the fairgrounds; while the food stalls will be in the lower part of said enclosure and the streets of Inglaterra and Austria. As confirmed by the mayor, "both in the fairgrounds and in both streets, the location that the stalls will have weekly has already been marked on the ground."

The councillor has indicated that "the fairgrounds is a practical and comfortable location", and has recalled that "this space is perfectly conditioned and equipped to place the market".

The flea market will remain at this location until the end of August.
