The first will take place on July 22 and August 13 and the second will run from 22 to 25 August
Youth organizes a diving course for beginners and another 'Open Water Dive'
The Youth Department of the Benidorm City Council has reported the completion of two diving courses after verifying the success of previous editions. The first of the courses will be for beginners and the second for 'Open Water Dive'.
For those who want to start diving, there will be two dates; July 22 and August 13, both in the afternoon and with a registration fee of 50 euros. In this course, an introduction and instructions on diving with autonomous equipment and safety regulations are carried out first. The material is then distributed and, once equipped, the students will travel on the School's boat together with the instructors to the island of Benidorm. There, a 30-minute dive will take place at a depth of about six meters with various activities and practices.
As for the 'Open Water Dive' course, it will take place from August 22 to 25, also in the afternoon. In this case, the registration fee will be 270 euros. Students will do a theoretical part, a practical part in confined water, and four 30-minute dives in open water.
Once finished, students will get the 'Open Water Dive' certificate, valid anywhere in the world.
For more information or to formalize the registration, those interested should go to the Youth Information Center. Any interested person from 10 years of age can participate in these courses.
