The Plan of Mobility and Sustainable parking will make 15,000 surveys to pedestrians and drivers to improve traffic in Benidorm

González de Zárate advanced in this work he wants to introduce suggestions and opinions not only of the professional groups most directly affected, such as carriers or drivers, but also business, trade associations and the tourism sector, as well as neighborhood associations. "The ultimate goal it is to have a picture as descriptive as possible about traffic and parking problems that exist in Benidorm. It is, ultimately, to make Benidorm more sustainable and kinder comfortable for citizens", he added.
The councillor for Mobility stressed that the work will have a zero cost to the municipal coffers.
Among the objectives pursued with this study are:

• Promote public transport
• Programs for the recovery of public spaces (pedestrian priority areas)
• Improved interconnection between pedestrian and shopping areas.
