Iván Marín from Benidorm closes ‘Great Recitals’ cycle
Iván Marín, clarinetist trained at the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Benidorm, with subsequent studies at the conservatories of Alicante and Madrid, and postgraduate at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, is in charge, with his concert, closing the 2019 cycle of Great Recitals launched by the Department of Youth.
Marín was a student of Yehuyda Gilad and Michele Zukovsky, participating, postgraduate, in the orchestras of Naples (Florida) and Pittsburg (California) under the direction of Mariss Jansons.
The Recital Program that will be held in the City Hall of Acts tomorrow, Friday 25, at eight in the afternoon, features works by Brahms, Rabaud, Kóvacs, Lutoslawski and Poulenc. He will be accompanied by the piano Alicia González, trained at the School of Music of Barcelona, with Albert Attanelle, and with professional development in both Holland and Spain
This recital closes the cycle that Carolina Santiago started on piano and Vicente Llimerá, the oboe, and the finalists of the Marina Baixa Intercentros Contest have continued.
The Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, highlighted the level of the interpreters and the response of the public that encourages “to work in the program of the 2020 edition of the Great Recitals and in the selection of local interpreters who gain fame and national and international prestige ”.
