Benidorm City Council’s Assembly Hall hosted the presentation of the Economic Yearbook of Alicante Province on Wednesday. The publication was produced by the Institute for Economic Studies of Alicante Province (INECA), in collaboration with the newspaper Información and Prensa Ibérica. It analyses the region’s main socioeconomic indicators, productivity and structural challenges. The presentation in Benidorm focused on the city’s economy and the role tourism plays in the provincial economy.
Mayor Toni Pérez, accompanied by other members of the City Council, joined INECA President Alfredo Millá and Información Director Toni Cabot for the event. Numerous representatives from the tourism industry and other economic sectors across the province also attended.
