Employment and business associations prepare the Focus Pyme Marina Baixa 2018
The Department of Employment and Local Development and business associations of the region are already preparing the Focus Pyme Marina Baixa 2018. The first preparatory meeting, held yesterday, was attended by the councilwoman of the area, Mª Jesús Pinto; and the representatives of the associations Jovempa (Young Entrepreneurs of Marina Baixa), Memba (Women Entrepreneurs of Marina Baixa), Aico (Independent Association of Merchants), Abreca-Cobreca (Association of Bars and Restaurants), Avibe (Association of Travel Agencies) and of Invattur (Valencian Institute of Tourist Technologies), in addition to the CEEI (European Center of Innovative Companies) of Elche.
The meeting served to evaluate the results of the Focus Pyme Project during the year 2017, an initiative promoted and organized by the Generalitat through the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (Ivace). Among the objectives of the project is to promote entrepreneurship, encourage innovation in SMEs and generate synergies among participating entities.
The mayor of Employment recalled that "in the framework of Focus Pyme 2017 we have the presence of renowned chef Ferran Adrià in a meeting that was a success." Pinto advanced that in the first preparatory meeting "have been raised several interesting topics for the next Focus meeting, which will take place in the last quarter of the year."
