Dani Juárez II Memorial, in tribute to the sportsman from Benidorm who died in 2015, will face El Calvari CF and CD Jávea on Saturday, August 25. The Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, has presented today this sporting event together with the president of El Calvari CF, José Santiago, and the club manager Francisco Mas. The Sports Councilor explained that Dani Juárez Memorial wants to "perpetuate the name of this athlete in time", and has applauded the involvement of El Calvari CF "for keeping it". The president of the entity, meanwhile, has stressed that Dani Juárez was "a great athlete and a good person" and thanked his family for "trusting" on the club and for the organization of this second Memorial.

About the match between El Calvari CF and CD Jávea, Cabrillo assured that it will be "a very interesting match", in which "the team's level and the perspective of the new season will be seen".

Looking ahead to this season, Santiago anticipated that the club's objectives are to "consolidate the sports project and the base" started last year. He also thanked "the 'sponsors' and subscribers" for their support throughout the past season and the one that begin soon; and the City Council, which has lent the facilities for the event disinterestedly".
