Boca del Calvari Museum obtains the SICTED award
Museu Boca del Calvari has obtained the SICTED badge, promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism and which attests to the commitment to quality and the effort of the City Council to improve the experience and satisfaction of visitors to this cultural resource.
This was reported today by the acting Councilor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, who stressed that "this distinction is also a recognition of the work we have done to offer a stable program throughout the year, with temporary exhibitions of diverse artistic modalities and that pivot, fundamentally, on two branches: contemporary art and the history of Benidorm”.
She recalled, "At the moment Museu Boca del Calvari is hosting two complementary exhibitions, 'El Guardian del Mar' and 'Guardianes de Piedra', focused on the history of the fortifications in the province of Alicante, including our Castell, and especially in our watchtower of les Caletes”.
Pellicer stressed that "by obtaining this SICTED seal, our Museu Boca del Calvari joins the network of cultural resources in the province of Alicante that also have this distinction, among which are some first-rate products and facilities such as the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), the Miguel Hernández House-Museum or the castles of Santa Bárbara or La Atalaya”.
The acting manager of Historical and Cultural Heritage has stressed that "this badge confirms the commitment and commitment of Benidorm to offer the highest quality standards in its tourist products; a commitment that the City Council shares with the private sector”. In fact, in addition to the beaches of Poniente, Levante, and Mal Pas, SICTED also has the tourist offices of El Torrejó and Rincón de Loix, as well as nearly 80 local companies.
