Benidorm puts out to tender the recreational activities of its beaches
Benidorm City Council has tendered the provision of the service of recreational and entertainment activities on its beaches. The contract is divided into six lots and has a duration of two years with the possibility of extension for another two, as established in the tender documents that include the conditions and requirements for each of the services, including personnel.
The Councilor for Beaches, Mónica Gómez, pointed out that "all these recreational activities are one more attraction that contributes to improving the experience that the destination offers to residents and tourists who, from the outset, already choose the beaches of Benidorm for their quality and services ”. Some attributes, she has affirmed, that "have made our beaches a benchmark at a national and international level."
The activities included in the contract are the rental of pedal boats, kayaks, and paddle surfing; excursions with jet skis; banana, flyfish, and parachute trawling; information point for the cablesky administrative concession; maritime excursions and rental of boats of less than 15 meters in length and underwater activities; and floating play platforms. Most of these activities are accompanied by their corresponding information point.
According to the specifications, the annual season for the installation and provision of these services will run from March 5 to November 5, except in the case of floating platforms, which will be operational from July 1 to 30 September. In 2023, the season will start the day after the corresponding contracts are signed.
The tender was published yesterday on the State Contracting Platform and companies interested in submitting offers for one or more lots can do so until March 22 at 3:00 p.m.
