The presentation had as its protagonist the Benidorm DTI model focusing on the Spanish model of intelligent tourist destinations and several examples of good practices, highlighting in this part the example of Benidorm and its certification work with the exemplification of actions developed in each of axes; accessibility, sustainability, innovation, technology under the governance of destiny
Examples such as drone safety management, Wi-Fi on the beaches, Smart Office, accessible beaches and big data tools have been the points that have generated the most interest among the more than 200 attendees who have participated in the conference.
After Benidorm exhibition, the turn of Edurne Vidal, Project Manager of the Tourism Research Department of Segittur, has taken advantage of his presentation to make the national public of DTIs model known to the Norwegian public.
Actions like this are of vital importance for Visit Benidorm Foundation, which considers it necessary to carry out a continuous work of dissemination of a model as pioneering and innovative as that of Benidorm as the world's first certified Smart Tourist Destination.
