Urban Scene expands the children's area of La Cala park with adapted games

The Department of Urban Scene has expanded the children's area of ​​the park next to the larger social housing of La Cala - at the intersection of Pajares, Actor Luis Prendes and Secretary Juan Antonio Baldoví -, with the implementation of games adapted for children with functional diversity.

Specifically, an integrating set has been installed, such as polyethylene loading, sound bars, numbers and letters 'braille', manual games for arm exercises, and accessible ramps.

This action has resulted in an investment of 14,993.11 euros, has been executed at the proposal of the municipal group Citizens (Cs), and has allowed to increase the children's area in 63 square meters, which has received a treatment with concrete hearth and rubber tile .

The mayor, Toni Pérez, has been approached to the park today; The councilman of Urban Scene, Jose Ramón González de Zárate; The councilwoman of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca; and the spokesman and deputy spokesman of the municipal group Citizens (Cs), Rafael Gasent and Juan Balastegui. During the morning, the rubber flooring has been finished.

This play area adapted for children with functional diversity is added to those located in the parks of Elche, l'Aigüera and Rincón de Loix. In addition, there is another in the area of ​​recreation on Villajoyosa Avenue - to the height of the towers Sunset Drive-; and another two are scheduled to be completed before the end of the year.
