The Association of Housewives of Benidorm has presented this morning its first Cultural Week that will start next Monday, June 19 and end on Friday 23, in a press conference that had the presence of the Councilor for Equality, Paquita Ripoll, the president of the association, Vini Pérez, and her secretary, Mariló Cebreros.
"The Housewives are an association of women who carry out cultural, artistic and recreational activities throughout the year," said Paquita Ripoll, among which she has highlighted handicrafts, singing and dancing, among others. During this week you can enjoy the effort made during the last months. Ripoll has invited the whole city "to participate in the events they have prepared for the whole week" and recalled that the associates meet every Wednesday at the Casa del Fester.
The week will begin on Monday 19 with the inauguration in Hort de Colón of an exhibition of Workshops, at 12:30 p.m. On Tuesday 20 there will be an exhibition of the Dance Workshop, coordinated by Mariló Cebreros himself and another of the Choir Workshop, led by Francisco José Rovira, all in the Hall of Acts of the City Hall. Wednesday will be the day of the brotherhood meal, at the Yacht Club, starting at 2:00 p.m. On Thursday, the Assembly Hall of the City Council will be the stage where some works will be represented by the Theater Workshop, led by Pedro Sánchez. Finally, on Friday 23, at 12.00 the exhibition 'Art al Carrer' will be opened in a place "still to be determined", has qualified Vini Pérez who has described as "very complete" the programming of the Cultural Week and a very interesting exhibition. The show, said Cebreros, will be exhibited on a place "so that all Benidorm see the artists we have in the association."
