Óscar Esplá auditorium will host the 'Voices for Benín' concert and the music band exchange festival between the S.M. L'Illa and the A.M. Barrio del Cristo
Theater workshop and concerts in the cultural program for this weekend
The next few days are loaded on the calendar of the Department of Culture of Benidorm City Council with several activities scheduled for the enjoyment of people of any age.
The first activity will take place tomorrow, Thursday in the Assembly Hall of the Benidorm City Council with the end-of-year audition of the Theater Workshop at the La Torreta Social Center. Directed by Ana Maestre and Sergio Sempere, the audition will take place starting at 8:30 p.m.
On Friday it will be the turn of the 'Voices for Benín' choir concert, which will be held in the Óscar Esplá auditorium in l'Aigüera Park at 9:00 p.m. This concert is part of the group's tour for this summer in different Spanish cities with its new music and dance show in defence of children's rights. Organized by Juntos por la vida Foundation, it has the collaboration of Benidorm City Council.
This foundation project seeks to make visible and publicize African culture, dance, traditions, percussion and song. The choir is made up of 25 young artists, between 6 and 18 years old, who make Benin vibrate with their voices, sounds and colours while expressing their message to the world through their African rhythms, songs, dances and drums.

Finally, on Saturday the 22nd at 8 p.m. the Music Band Festival organized by the S. M. L'illa of Benidorm will be held, which will also take place in the Óscar Esplá auditorium. This event is included in the XXI Musical Exchange Concert Campaign organized by the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community that takes place from March 29 to October 13. The S.M. will participate in it. L’Illa de Benidorm and the A.M. Christ neighborhood of Quart de Poblet (Valencia).
