Benidorm congratulates Felipe VI for his ten years of reign
Benidorm City Council has conveyed, and on behalf of all citizens, a congratulatory message to King Felipe VI for his ten years as the head of the Head of State. An anniversary that will be celebrated this Wednesday, June 19. For this purpose, and as it has done on other occasions when major national or international events have taken place, Benidorm City Council has made its technological elements available for this event.
In this way, starting at noon, the city has launched a congratulatory message from the technohito at Plaza de la Hispanidad and through the network of screens distributed throughout the city dedicated to the King of Spain on this tenth anniversary of his reign. In addition to this congratulatory video, the City Council will also illuminate some of its most emblematic spaces tonight, such as the garland of lights on Paseo Marítimo de Levante or the Castell, with the colours of the Spanish flag.
The mayor of the city, Toni Pérez, highlighted that "once again we show the sincere affection and respect that we feel in Benidorm towards our monarchy and our head of state, accompanying him from the city on such a special day in which ten years since he took charge of the Crown.” Likewise, the first mayor has conveyed to the Palace his gratitude and congratulations "on behalf of all the people of Benidorm for these ten years of service to Spain."
