Los alumnos del programa T’Avalem visitan el archivo municipal de Benidorm

Students of Benidorm T'Avalem Jove II program continue their training and as part of the program activities they have visited the municipal archive.

This is a group of nine students, unemployed people aged 16 to 30, who are studying in the field of Administration and Management. This group, specifically, is trained in Auxiliary operations of administrative and general services and in 'Administrative activities with the public'.

One of the modules of this last speciality is 'Registration and Archive' and includes a visit to the municipal archive, where the responsible technicians have informed them about its operation and tasks.

Their practices are carried out in several departments of the City Council and also have a theoretical training part two days a week. “This attention to the public and administrative management in municipal offices constitutes the practical part of the training and employment program,” said the Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez, who recalled that the program “lasts one year,” and “has a Labora subsidy of 501,556.80 euros from the European Social Fund.

This subsidy finances the hiring of participating people and the teaching team that is in charge of their training. The program also has a municipal contribution of 60,000 euros. “It is a mixed employment and training program, in which on the one hand the students receive theoretical and practical training and on the other, they carry out tasks they have learned,” indicated Gómez, who added that “this program represents a great opportunity” to improve employability or learn a new speciality.”
