Benidorm welcomes the new companies and entrepreneurs joining the Espai Coworking

The Espai Coworking space in Benidorm welcomed nine new companies and entrepreneurial projects on Monday with a networking event designed to foster connections and share ideas about their projects. The session, organised by the Benidorm City Council's Department of Employment and Local Promotion, also featured presentations from professionals who have used or continue to use coworking spaces. These included Rubén Martínez and Víctor Herrero, representatives of Genion Lab, one of the oldest coworking spaces in the Valencian Community, who spoke about the benefits of being part of a work community; and Dioni Navarro, president of Jovempa Marina Baixa, who discussed youth associations and the entrepreneurial experience in Benidorm.

The Councillor for Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, also participated in this session, where she once again welcomed the new users of the Espai Coworking space and wished them that their time at this municipal workspace “will be the starting point for brilliant ideas, valuable connections, and new projects that will boost the growth of your businesses.” The Councillor also conveyed that the Benidorm City Council is “delighted to support you on this journey” and wished them “every success in your projects and that the time you spend together in this space translates into growth, innovation, and professional opportunities.”

The new projects 

Of the nine projects recently added to Espai Coworking, one is ‘Lecker Atelier’, winner of the 2024 Entrepreneurial Ideas Competition. Founded by Elia Carceller, it promotes sustainable gastronomy in the local hospitality sector and among the general public through training, consulting, and workshops. ‘EasyProjekts’, by Luis Carlos Lázaro, proposes an app for hotels that synchronises purchases with occupancy and sales, reducing costs and waste. Jesús Martínez is behind ‘Isoval’, a consulting and auditing service for companies focused on obtaining and renewing quality certifications. ‘Alfa Bye Aloho Group’ is the fourth project at Espai Coworking. Led by Jesús Muñoz, it focuses on modernising the real estate market through digitalisation and the integration of advanced technologies.

Added to these are ‘Producciones Jorge Granda’, a project creating original soundtracks, and ‘Organik Marketing’, by José Ignacio Piñeira, a digital marketing service based on new technologies and AI, aimed at companies in the tourism sector. ‘Genma Cuidadores’ is Natalia Noemi’s project, which proposes using tablets to support cognitive stimulation and digital literacy for comprehensive social and healthcare services. ‘Up Consulting PC’, promoted by Ángela Padilla, offers comprehensive management services for homeowners' associations and properties. Rounding out the new additions is the ‘Legado Inmobiliaria’ project, by Pedro Torres, focused on the purchase and sale of residential properties.

Located on the first floor of the Aquarium building on Juan Fuster Avenue in Zaragoza, Espai Coworking Benidorm is a municipal service offering a flexible and collaborative work environment for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and startups. Its mission is to foster innovation, professional synergy, and the growth of the local business community, providing not only a physical space but also an active community and a calendar of training and networking events.

For the first six months, companies and entrepreneurs have access to Espai Coworking's facilities and services free of charge, one year in the case of Lecker Atelier, having won the 2024 Entrepreneurial Ideas Competition. From the seventh month onward, the space costs €150 per month, "an affordable price that reduces project costs in the initial stages, which are crucial for the project's future success," concluded Mónica Gómez.
