More than a hundred festive entities participate in the Offering to the Mare de Déu del Sofratge in the events of the 278th Anniversary of the Finding of the patroness saint of Benidorm

This Saturday has taken place the celebration of the offering to the Virgin of the Suffrage on the occasion of the 278th Anniversary of the Finding of the Mare de Déu del Sofratge, a pilgrimage that departed from the Paseo Colón until reaching the parish of San Jaime and Santa Ana for more. of a hundred of festeras and peñistas entities that wanted to offer their patron.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the mayor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, senator Agustín Almodóbar, the regional deputy Manuel Pérez, the president of the Festival Committee Francisco Marín, the president of the Association of Penyes, Daniel Luque, the queens of the Major Patronal Festivities 2018, Anna Calbo García and Fatima Carrobles Espinosa, as well as members of the municipal corporation led the offering that traveled the main streets of Benidorm.

After the offering the Children's Queen, Anna Calbo, recited some verses in honor of the patron saint and the Queen addressed some words to the neighbors, closing the ceremony the mayor Toni Pérez. Later, a fireworks castle was fired in Plaza Castelar, in charge of the Valencian Fireworks.

The acts will continue next week on March 16 with l'Alba, starting at 6.00 am in which the Mare de Déu del Sofratge will tour the three beaches of Benidorm.
