Important safety device and more points of light in the enclosure

The councillor of Fiestas and the Association of Penyes are finalizing the assembly of the venue in which this weekend is expected to celebrate the Peñas Camp, which will gather more than 3,200 members of the Peñas, according to data transferred by the councilor of the area, Jesús Carrobles, and the president of the festive group, Mariano Nájera.

In total, 163 clubs have been inscribed which from Friday to Sunday will live on the plot located in the area of El Murtal, whose size has been expanded to gain in comfort.

Carrobles and Nájera have pointed out that "this year the power lines and light points have been increased so that the enclosure has more light and so that the cliffs can be more easily connected to the current." The security system will also be reinforced, which will be composed of three security guards per shift plus six auxiliaries who will control the activity inside the enclosure, complementing the police service outside the enclosure.

The councilor of Fiestas stressed that special attention will be given to avoiding alcohol consumption among children under 18 years. A prohibition that will be remembered with signage in Castilian and Valencian languages.

In addition, and as in previous years, the 'Coneixement' campaign developed by the Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors (UPCCA) of the Social Welfare department will be present at the Camp to raise awareness among the members of the Peñas about responsible consumption. Thus, the 'stand' will open on Saturday at noon and will offer 'mojitos' without alcohol.

This afternoon, between 17.00 and 22.30 hours and in the order that was determined by drawing at the Assembly last night, the Peñas will choose a plot within the enclosure, which will open its doors on Friday at 08.00 hours.
