Comercio y AICO organizan una charla sobre ‘Verifactu’, el nuevo sistema de facturación electrónica obligatorio en 2026

The Independent Association of Merchants (AICO) and Benidorm City Council's Department of Commerce have organised an information session about the new invoicing system for all self-employed individuals and businesses, Verifactu, which will be mandatory in 2026. The talk will take place on Thursday, the 27th of this month, at 4:00 PM on the fifth floor of the El Torrejó building and will last approximately 45 minutes. This meeting is intended for AICO members and all merchants and self-employed individuals.

The talk will be given by Germán Saval, a tax advisor and second vice president of the Professional Association of Tax Advisors of the Valencian Community, as well as by Ángel Fuster and Miguel Ángel García from LC Sistem, an IT services company.

During this session, the experts will address any remaining questions or concerns that business owners may have about this new system. Thus, questions will be answered and answers will be provided on whether the Verifactu system is mandatory and for whom, “whether your business is prepared, the possible sanctions, what needs to be done before January 1, the necessary equipment and requirements, whether it is necessary to change the cash register and any other matter related to advice and help in this new situation,” explained the Councilor for Commerce, Javier Jordá.
