Benidorm hosts from 21st to 27th of March the European Championship Sub'19, a mini tournament of elite qualification in which the national teams of Spain, Bulgaria, Belgium and France participate, in which a place will be played to dispute the next July the U19 European Championship in Finland.

Five matches will be played at Guillermo Amor Stadium in Benidorm and another one (Belgium - Bulgaria) at Collao de Alcoy. The entrance to attend each meeting will cost 5 euros, and can be purchased in advance at the stadium ticket offices.

The mayor of Benidorm Toni Pérez pointed out the importance of this tournament "for Benidorm" as it is a tourist attraction more within the large showcase that the city offers at Easter, "since we sell happiness and sports tourism."

The competition will start in Benidorm on Wednesday March 21 with the match between Belgium and France at 12 o'clock. The Spanish National Team will debut in the afternoon starting at 6pm against Bulgaria. On Saturday March 24 will continue the second day with the parties France - Bulgaria, at 12 o'clock and Spain - Belgium, at 18 o'clock. The third and last day will be held on Tuesday, March 27, at a unified time at 5:30 p.m., with the Guillermo Amor stadium, the scenario chosen for Spain - France with the classification possibly in play.

All matches played by the Spanish National Team U19 will be broadcast live on TVE, as announced by the delegate of the Federation, Damián López.

It should also be noted that the meetings will be led by international referees, among whom will be the Martínez Munuera brothers, based in Benidorm.

The City Council of Benidorm will distribute more than 2,000 tickets among the young people and schoolchildren of the city so that they can witness and give warmth from the stands to young international pledges.
