The mayor wishes the taekwondo athletes from Benidorm the best of luck at the European Championships in Slovenia

The three representatives of the TAE Taekwon-Do Club of Benidorm, Lucas Mencía, Fernando Sanabria, and Lui Owen, members of the Spanish national team, Taekwon-do Spain ITF, which will participate in the 2026 AETF European Championships at the Tabor Sport Hall in Maribor, Slovenia, visited the City Hall this morning, where they were received by the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Sports, Javier Jordá.

The championships will be held from April 12 to 19 in the Slovenian city. This will be the 40th edition of the Senior European Championships, the 31st of the Junior European Championships, and the third of the Pre-Junior European Championships, and is the main competition on the AETF (European Taekwon-Do Federation) calendar.

Toni Pérez wished the three representatives of the Benidorm club the best of luck in the competition and presented them with promotional T-shirts from the city.
