Christ and his mother receive honors before the National Police Corps station, honorary brotherhood
Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza y La Paz takes procession to the streets in Benidorm

Following the morning palm blessings, Benidorm Holy Week events moved to the Buen Pastor church, where the procession of the Royal Brotherhood of Our Lady of Hope and Peace and Our Father Jesus of Health and Humility set off just after 8:00 p.m.
The event was attended by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the councillor for Fiestas department, Mariló Cebreros; members of the municipal council; and the regional deputies José Ramón González de Zárate and Manuel Pérez Fenoll, who accompanied the members of the brotherhood, the senior brother, José Manuel Olvera; the other presidents of the local brotherhoods; and the president of the Junta Mayor, Mª Dolores Cano.
As tradition dictates, the images, greeted by the faithful with the singing of 'saetas' and accompanied by Societat Musical La Nova and Agrupación Musical Virgen del Sufragio, were the protagonists and were reunited upon their return to the temple. At the National Police station, Christ and his mother received the honours of the corps, which, it should be noted, is an honorary member of Our Lady of Hope Brotherhood, giving them special prominence in this manifestation of religious fervour.
The images made a short but interspersed journey after leaving El Buen Pastor, which paraded them through the streets of Puig Campana, Roldán, Av. de los Almendros, Limones, Maravall, Apolo XI, Jazmín, and Plaza de España, before finally returning to the parish.
