The works have consisted of the installation and renovation of the drinking water and sanitation network, low voltage, lighting, telecommunications and road paving
The urbanization works on Munich Street in the upper part of Rincón de Loix are completed
The execution works on Munich street urbanization project in Rincón de Loix has come to an end three months after it began. These works were aimed at this road, which had been paralyzed since 2007, providing it with pavement and urbanization services, as explained by Mayor Toni Pérez.
The works have included various demolitions, earthworks and compaction for the preparation of the esplanade surface. In addition, works have been carried out for the execution of urban services such as the drinking water network, the sanitation network, low voltage, public lighting, telephony and telecommunications, paving of the public road, signalling and beaconing and protection of the path of the upper road.
The mayor has pointed out that although the sewage system was completely installed before the work began, the drinking water, telecommunications, low voltage and lighting networks "had sections in poor condition that needed to be rebuilt."
Thus, the development of the connecting road between Paris avenue roundabout connecting with the already executed section of Munich street has been completed where the pavement of the road has been renewed, thus allowing continuity from Munich street to the said roundabout.
Regarding the sanitation network, the affected section has been renovated so that the new pipes are connected downstream with the existing well in the network.
"This is a work that has been paralyzed for many years, since 2007, and now we have managed to unblock this situation and complete a much-needed action for the residents of the area," said Pérez. In addition, the mayor has underlined the fact that the completion of this new road "supposes a direct connection with Serra Gelada school and the area of the theme parks, and therefore what this represents of traffic congestion".
The term of execution of the works has been three months, which began once the Act of Layout of the works was signed.
