The National Championship of Electronic Darts congregates to 6,500 players in Palau d'Esports

El Campeonato Nacional de Dardos Electrónicos congrega a 6.500 jugadores en el Palau d’Esports

The winning team will be able to participate in the world championship to be held in Shanghai or Las Vegas

Palau d'Esports l'Illa in Benidorm will host the 27th edition of the 2017 National Electronic Darts Championship, organized by Bullshooter Dart Federation, with the support of the Department of Sports. This was announced this morning by the head of this municipal area, Arturo Cabrillo, accompanied by the general director of the commercial, Rafael García and the director of the event, Agustín Romero.

Arturo Cabrillo said that in this edition will be the Open L-Style and Open Monsters modalities, and that both will add "an amount of cash prizes of more than 8,000 euros." The councilman recalled that, in addition to the individual championships or couples, in the modalities of cricket and 501 "will be disputed as a grand finale the National and International Team Championship" and that the winners of the category, both male as female, will have "a seat for the World Championship" to be held in Shanghai (China) or Las Vegas (United States). Besides the winning team of the gold categories, silver and bronze for men; and women's gold, "will earn a place for the European Championship" with the costs of transportation, accommodation and support subsidized by Bullshooter Dart Federation.

Cabrillo, lastly, stressed that Benidorm is a privileged place to host such events "very important to promote sports tourism", which serve to promote " the city to participants and accompanying people" and to makes it a dynamic element in the off-season. In this regard, Agustín Romero has indicated that, in addition to the 6,500 registered, it is expected that 2,000 people will come to the city as companions. For his part, Rafael Garcia has announced that, for the darderos who arrive on Thursday "or any interested, opens an individual open" that will distribute in three prizes proceeds with the inscription.
