Mobility reports the first diversions and traffic cuts in Benidorm due to the Fallas

The Department of Mobility of Benidorm City Council has reported the first traffic cuts and diversions that will be operational in the city starting this week on the occasion of the Fallas celebration, and which are located in the areas close to the points where the monuments of the festive entities are placed. Specifically, the first cuts that will begin to operate are those that affect the areas where fairs, monuments and/or Casales of the Fallas of Els Tolls and Rincón de Loix are set up.
In the downtown, due to the installation of Falla Els Tolls fair, the cuts will occur starting this Thursday, March 13, at 11:30 p.m., and will last for a week, until Thursday, March 20, at 3 a.m. Specifically, the section of Tomás Ortuño street between Marte-Venus and Ondulada streets will be closed to traffic in the incoming direction. Both the exit of vehicles from Ondulada Street and from Maravall towards El Cruce will be operational.
On the other hand, in Rincón de Loix, a section of Ametlla del Mar Avenue has also been closed to traffic, from Estocolmo Street to Madrid Avenue, for the assembly of the tent of this Fallas commission. This cut will be extended to the Mediterranean Avenue from the night of next Wednesday, the 13th, and will last until March 21.
The Department of Mobility, headed by the councillor Francis Muñoz, has indicated that in addition to the closure of these roads to traffic, there will also be occasional cuts during these festivities. Specifically, from Monday, March 17, for the celebration of parades, fireworks events or the cremà (burning) of the monuments, which will be duly reported in the coming days.
