Ana Pellicer and Miguel Martínez Munuera open the cycle of sessions that will last until May 13
The IES Mediterrània organizes the II Conference on Applied Anatomy
The students of the subject of applied anatomy of the 1st Baccalaureate of the IES Mediterrània de Benidorm have organized the II Workshop on Applied Anatomy that will start today and will continue in three new days until next May 13.
The opening ceremony of these days has counted as speakers with the presence of the acting mayor of the City of Benidorm and mayor of Health, Ana Pellicer and assistant referee of 1st Division, Miguel Martínez Munuera. Both have shared their experience in their respective work environment and the benefits of sport and physical exercise as a stimulating element of personal development.
During these days four papers will be presented in which reference will be made to the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, the nervous system, the immune system, as well as some alterations thereof. There will also be a descriptive work of anatomical and physiological modifications due to physical exercise.
The students will elaborate a research work that they will have to expose at the end of the sessions together with an expert in the subject.
The other speakers will be Salvador Martínez Pérez, Professor of Anatomy and Human Embryology at the UMH in Elche, Eva Auso Monreal, Professor at the UA, Carolina Rodríguez, Degree in Nursing and Ángela Llorca, Spanish Triathlon Champion.
