The municipal website includes a portal of FEDER Funds in which it will report on co-financed actions by the EU

11 April 2019
La web municipal incorpora un portal de Fondos FEDER en el que informará sobre las actuaciones cofinanciadas por la UE

The municipal website www.benidorm.org has incorporated a portal on FEDER Funds to disseminate and transfer information on actions which are co-financed by the European Union that are being carried out or will be carried out in the city. All projects linked to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of any Operational Program are clearly, functionally and openly displayed on this portal. The address of the portal is https://benidorm.org/fondos-feder/es.

The objective is that, through this portal, the citizens know how Benidorm City Council manages the money it has received from Europe for different projects and initiatives framed in Operational Programs linked to the economic growth of the urban regions of the countries of the Union .

The web systematically shows all the information related to the management, organization, operation, participation and communication of DUSI Strategy (Strategy for Sustainable and Integrating Urban Development), for which the City Council has received a grant of 10 million euros to invest between 2019 and 2023 ..

The portal also includes the projects that have assets Benidorm and that have received FEDER funds for the period 2014-2020: project 'Benidorm, Smart and Sustainable Tourism Destination', subsidized with 2.4 million euros through Red.es; 'Ring Cyclist of Levante and connecting branches', with 800,000 euros based on a call promoted by the Generalitat; and the archaeological actions to recover and musealize El Castell and El Tossal de La Cala, with 700,000 euros.
