The Federation awards Toni Pérez the title of Judo Black Belt
Elite judokas from 25 countries participate in a 'stage' in Benidorm
On the occasion of the celebration at Palau d'Esports l'Illa de Benidorm of Benidorm EJU OTC 2023 organized by the European Judo Union that brings together 51 federations and associations of this sport, the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, together with the deputy in Congress, Agustín Almodóbar, has received the title of 'Judo Black Belt' from the Royal Spanish Federation of Judo and Associated Sports.
On this occasion, it is a diploma of thanks for the treatment received in the city that has allowed hundreds of judokas, top-level athletes, many of them Olympic champions, from 25 countries and three continents, to celebrate between 3 and 7 July, this international training camp in the city.
Toni Pérez received the diploma from the manager of the RFEJ, Gonzálo González, in an act in which the Councilor for Sports, Javier Jordá, was also present; the judoka and Olympic medalist from Alicante, Miriam Blasco; the sports director of the Federation, Sara Álvaréz; and its press officer, Carmen Calvo.
