The new phases of the work force these new itineraries, which will not lengthen the routes of pedestrians
Changes in the pedestrian diversions in Beniardá avenue because of works
The Department of Urban Scene and Works has reported a change in the existing pedestrian detours on Avenida Beniardá. These changes are motivated by the new phases of the work and the need to change the established planning.
However, to establish these new proposed pedestrian itineraries, an effort has been made to ensure that the impact on users is minimal and the pedestrian routes will not be extended. Thus, even though the crossing has been moved away from the access to the park and ride, an intermediate crossing to the TRAM station has been included, so that the distances to travel are similar.
The construction management also indicated that numerous new signage will be installed to facilitate knowledge of the new itineraries.
On the other hand, the current area for stockpiling existing material in part of the avenue will also be relocated and will be moved inside the park and ride park, although the technicians will study which location would cause the least impact on users.
