Remesa inicial de la 2a fase de Ayudas Paréntesis

The Local Government Board (JGL) has approved today the first remittance corresponding to the second phase of Parenthesis Grants, as reported by the mayor, Toni Pérez. This remittance amounts to 444,023.94 euros and includes aid for nearly 200 companies and self-employed professionals, who will receive an average benefit of 2,200 euros.
Toni Pérez explained that “although the second call for these Parenthesis Grants is still open, the Technical Commission has already begun to assess the first files in order to resolve the applications as quickly as possible so that this economic injection arrives as soon as possible. to companies and freelancers in the city ”. Some companies and freelancers that "fundamentally in the hospitality and leisure sector are now affected by new restrictions, so that at the moment all the help is little".
The Mayor recalled that "this second call includes new sectors and types of beneficiary activities with the aim of reaching the maximum possible number of companies and professionals in Benidorm who require it to maintain not only their economy but also the capacity they have to generate and keep jobs ”.
“With this second call we expanded the radius of action and the potential beneficiaries, after having already granted in the first phase more than 850 grants to companies with up to 10 workers and professionals in the city from various sectors, for a total amount of 2,032 .475.87 euros ".
The bases of this second call and the annexes with the beneficiary CNAES can be consulted in the section of ‘Plan Resistir-Helps Parenthesis (II call) on the website of the City Council: https://sede.benidorm.org. In this same section, the application for help will be processed, which will be 2,000 euros per company or self-employed, to which 200 euros 'extra' are added for each worker registered on December 31, 2020. The application period is open until 11:59 p.m. next Monday, July 19.
Toni Pérez has stressed that "attention to families and the productive fabric has been a maxim of this City Council from the moment the Covid-19 crisis broke out." For this reason, “in these 16 months of the pandemic, different aids and benefits have been articulated to support those who are suffering the most from the setbacks and consequences of this economic and social crisis, either by financially collaborating with higher administrations, as in the case of Parenthesis Grants, or through 100% municipal calls and initiatives such as aid aimed at the housing sector, family aid or Christmas Window Dressing contests or 'Benidorm Waits for You' ”.
"We are going to continue evolving in this line - he added - as long as there is a group, a sector, a part of the productive fabric or a home that requires the help of Benidorm City Council".
