The mayor, Toni Pérez, and the heads of the Youth and Education departments, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Maite Moreno, have accompanied the minors in part of the visit in the different municipal departments.

There have been 40 minors who have participated in the experience together with the Summer 2021 monitors and staff from the Youth and Education departments. The itinerary has passed through the function rooms and plenary sessions and the third floor of the town hall building where the Culture, Education and Sports offices are located, which, together with Youth council, are the ones that have caused the most interest in visitors.

The municipal technicians have shared details of the building such as being considered 'intelligent' due to its equipment and the technical and updated management systems of the facilities, or that the names of all the people registered in the city are engraved on its windows. city ​​when it was built in 2002.

The building has also recalled that it is affectionately known as the 'ground scraper' compared to the skyscrapers that make up the urban silhouette of Benidorm or that it is made up of a container of more than 14,000 square meters, almost 10 meters long and 13 meters wide. tall supported by four pillars.

Later, the young people have been received at the CIJ (Youth Information Center), where municipal technicians have explained the activities carried out by the Department and have advanced part of the services it offers in terms of training, sociocultural animation, free time and vacations.

Finally, at 1:00 p.m., and in the Plenary Hall, the Summer 2021 participants have acted as representatives of the popular will. Young people have debated, among other issues, mobility, proposing vehicle-free spaces for pedestrians only; or the main treasure of Benidorm, the beaches, part of them in defense of the subdivision of the  the sand in plots.

After the visit, the mayor gave the members of the group a bag with promotional gifts of the city.
