The park, designed for children from 1 to 12 years old, will be finished at the end of March
Benidorm incorporates a new playground on Periodista Emilio Romero street
Benidorm City Council has started an action on Periodista Emilio Romero street in the section between Lepanto and Gerona streets, in the vicinity of Europa avenue, to install a children's play area since the neighborhood lacks such a facility guy in the vicinity.
The mayor Toni Pérez and the Councilor for Urban Scene, José Ramón González de Zárate, visited the work that is being carried out on an area of about 350 square meters. Pérez pointed out that "the work is a great success because it will allow us to have facilities that were not around here and that many minors will be able to enjoy."
The new playground will be integrated into an area of residents and hotels in which there is no nearby children's area and, according to the mayor, "it will be a vehicle-themed park and will have a themed children's fence perimeter of almost one hundred linear meters ”.
The environment of this new facility "is ideal because the plot is surrounded by trees and green areas, away from traffic and with hardly any noise pollution" Pérez highlighted.
The park has been designed for children from 1 to 12 years of age and will have various integrating and accessible elements, with interactive play areas and shock-absorbing pavement to guarantee protection against possible falls by minors.
Completion is scheduled for before the end of March and it is an investment that is included in the annual investment plan of the municipal street furniture dealer, Exterior Plus, which is carrying out the work.
