From Monday to Thursday at 8 p.m. during July and August, there will be craft workshops open to the public

Benidorm inaugurates 'Les Nits del Castell', which this year will have 14 qualified artisans

02 July 2024
Les Nits del Castell

Since yesterday afternoon and like every summer, artisans, painters and caricaturists have been starring in a new edition of 'Les Nits del Castell', an initiative of the Department of Commerce whose objective is to energize the old town during the nights of the summer season, from 7 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. An activity that includes craft workshops open to the public. These workshops are already underway, as confirmed yesterday by the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Commerce, Javier Jordá, who together with members of the government team visited 'Les Nits del Castell' yesterday.

These workshops will be held throughout July and August from Monday to Thursday starting at 8:00 p.m. and will be taught by the artisans who have set up their stalls at Plaza de La Senyoria. Each day the workshop will be led by one of the artisans.

In this edition of 'Les Nits del Castell', which will last until September 30, 14 qualified artisans with professional licenses participate with a stand selling jewellery items in sterling silver and precious stones, costume jewellery, cold porcelain ornaments, pendants, handmade soaps, beads or handmade toys, among others. Added to these are portrait painters, caricaturists and a silhouette artist who will be located at Plaza Castelar.

Furthermore, as a complement to this offer, as in previous years, Asmibe (Association of People with Disabilities of Benidorm and Region) has set up a stand where you can purchase creations made by its members such as fans, bookbindings or leather goods.
