Benidorm entregará su Medalla Corporativa a las dos primeras concejalas electas en la historia de la ciudad
The Benidorm City Council will award the Corporate Medal to the first two women who obtained the act of councilor in the city, María Zaragoza Lloret and Bárbara Pérez Llinares; a recognition that coincides with the 90th anniversary of the approval of the female vote.
The unanimous proposal of the Board of Spokespersons includes carrying out an institutional recognition and public tribute to the four members of the rescue team of the beach concessionaire that last summer rescued a tourist who accidentally fell into the sea from the Plaza de Santa Ana .
As stated in the proposal, "María Zaragoza Lloret and Bárbara Pérez Llinares were elected representatives of the Municipal Corporation in the 1979 elections, becoming the first democratically elected women to take possession of an act as councilors of the Benidorm City Council" .
Regarding the rescue group, the proposal highlights “the professionalism, dedication and courage shown by the lifeguards Alejandro Ortiz, Adam Pisarczyk and José Bautista, and the skipper Daniel Jiménez, in a complex and complicated intervention in which, they even put their integrity at risk ”.
The delivery of the Corporate Medals and the institutional recognition and public tribute will take place on December 6, during the institutional act of the Constitution Day, which will be held at 12 noon at Plaza de la Hispanidad.
